Building/Expanding the fibre network on new sites in Lincoln. Once Lincoln becomes a fibre city, it will include switching people over from copper to fibre.
I've learnt how the fibre network works and how to correctly expand and repair it.
I think the programme is amazing, you can tell Openreach really cares a lot about its employees.
Its organised and structured very well, I feel like I'm in a company that knows what its doing.
Every time I've needed support my manager or other colleagues have been there for me and regularly go the extra mile.
If I need support, its there for me
It has taught me so much about health and safety, holidays, sickness information... etc. It's really helpful.
There are options available to me, I'm just not that interested in them so haven't sought out any information about them.
Yes
They are a company that really cares about its employees, keeping them safe, paying them well, supporting them when needed.
Its a really good opportunity, don't waste it if you get onto the training. Don't worry so much about the video interview, just relax and be yourself, even with a really bad video interview, I am now an apprentice working at Openreach.
