An undergraduate apprentice undertaking rotational placement within the company alongside part time university studies.
Yes, many design skills for example the use of CATIA. I also have a far deeper understanding of manufacturing now.
I enjoy the placements most the time, and occasionally enjoy the university work.
The organization is improving, however was very bad at the start.
The support is improving, however at times lacks.
The support at the UWE is sufficient and the NVQ is supported adequately through Airbus.
The university work helps to give a background to placement work, however is not directly applicable at times.
There are social events organized and lots of STEM events to support. In addition, there are many networking opportunities and international trips to undertake.

In balance, the Airbus apprenticeship provides lots of opportunities and continues to improve year on year; being reactive to issues.
