  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • The FCA is a great place to develop your skill set and learn new things. At the FCA there is great training you can attend to enhance your literacy skills, excel skills, legal skills.. the list is endless. There is also exciting opportunities to attend training courses which are over the course of a few days. I have been at the FCA a little longer than 6 months and I have learnt so much!

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme, the work is really interesting and there is a lot of flexibility within my job role so that I can help out with different tasks that I believe would be interesting and help my apprenticeship side of the programme.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The paralegal programme is very well structured. There is a lot of support from HR and Line Managers.

  • At the FCA there is endless amounts of support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • If I am ever unsure of anything when working towards my qualifications my colleges and line manager will help me with anything they can. During busy exam periods my manager will allow me to take extra time to focus on revision.

  • What we learn links closely with the work that we do, so it helps us to develop our skillset.

  • There are lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved in, for example sporting activities, social events / activities and professional networking events.

  • Yes

  • I would recommend the FCA to a friend due to the support and training you receive; there is a lot in place to help you develop your skillset and it is a great place to start / build your career.

  • The FCA is very complex so don't worry if you don't understand everything!
