  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is to install and repair virgin media service's to new and existing customers. That involves installing and repairing TV, internet and telephone services. I deal with the general public everyday of my job and have plenty of support from my other team members.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have got many qualifications and learnt new things since starting this job. I have gained more confidence and improved my people skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed working in my apprentice team and had loads of support from my managers. The company culture is great as they keep their employees happy and but us before anyone else. The job so far has been above my expectations, i have no regrets of taking on the apprenticeship with virgin media and look forward to work everyday.

  • I feel very valued, i get plenty of appreciation from my manager and fellow employees. The feedback i have had back from customers has been generally very good.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I feel the structure and organisation of the apprenticeship programme was very good. all training and support was great, we got given plenty of time to study and received a lot of help from my mentor.

  • I received plenty of support from virgin media, weather that be a manager, a fellow apprentice, my mentor. any problems i had, i was helped and received the appropriate support

  • My salary is great and has helped me by my first house

  • We had plenty of opportunities to be involve with charity work outside of work and in work.

  • Yes
