My role involves looking after 10 general managers and inturn 350 team members. Dealing with all aspects of operations from recruitment and development to technology, finance and sales and profit
I have learnt the theory behind what and why we do what we do in practice. I have also learned how things are done in different organisations and have used these learnings to improve my working practices
It is tough and chalenging as the face to face learning is at pace. However it is good to see how the lectures embrace the experience in the room and taylor the theory to practical experiences
The first moduel was a little disorganised as it was the first time it had been run and there were some difficulities around the expectations. However we all got there and the second moduel is much more detailed to the expectation and well thought through.
They are interested and will help when neccesary. I am in charge of my own diary and must dedicate more time to this. This is my own doing not that of my employers
Not needed any assistance up to now, our lead is very approachable and is free to be contatced.
The apprenticeship is giving me a broader understanding of theory and other business practices. It has enabled me to see outside the box of my own company and when dealing with projects I have been able to display broader thinking and feel confident that I am talking sense.
There are but they are all based at head office and I am a remote worker. I have my own personal activities and interests outside of work

Lots of opportunities to develop within a supportive environment. Forward thinking organisation.
Do it and take all the opportunities to develop that are available to you. Dont just think upward progression, think about lateral moves into roles to develop yourself and your potential.
