My job role involves managing orders and allocating stock and organising dysfunctional stock, whilst trying to maintain a high on time in full score for the site by working with other departments to ensure goods are loaded on time.
I learnt all my skills from scratch as I had no experience in this industry when I started, I have learnt how to navigate and use SAP to my advantage and be able to create reports from the system to shorten my workload.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme, I have been given so many opportunties outside the normal day to day working role, I have had chance to go award ceremonies and get involved in site projects and assessment centers, helping me develop a wide range of skills.
My programme is very well structured from an employee perspective, I always know what I am doing and how to do it, I am very well supported in every aspect and have been given a wide variety of roles and tasks throughout my programme.
My employers support me in every way they can, we have regular catch ups and meetings to ensure we are all working on the same page and understand the job role and tasks at hand.
My training provider was fantastic at the start of my programme where they would always support me and help me throughout any struggles, however, this is no longer the case and I do not feel very supported by my training provider. Fortunately, my employer is looking into the situation.
I feel as though the content of the course is good and helps me during my day to day tasks if the course can be delivered to the right standard.
There are many things to get involved in at my workplace, from kids lab, to sports and social events and many projects to keep you occupied alongside your normal day to day tasks.
