I provide administrative support to the Vice President of HR and the wider UK HR department as well as coordinating the recruitment for the Apprenticeship Programme. I prepare documents, attend meetings for minute-taking and arrange room bookings and catering where necessary. I assist with the organisation and running of assessment days and act as the contact point for all Apprenticeship queries. I Manage the new starter administration process, including drafting contracts, sending out offer documents, creating the employee file and making sure all documents are returned on time.
I have learnt various skills since starting my apprenticeship at Warner Bros. I have developed my organisational skills and learnt how to prioritise my daily tasks to meet deadlines. I have improved my confidence communication skills especially on the phone. I have also learned different software skills in particular Excel.
I enjoy going to work at Warner Brother's each day, everyday is different. The quantity of work and deadlines can be quite challenging at times however I feel that it has truly stretched me and I will have so much to offer as a result. I am fortunate to work with some lovely colleagues that have supported me throughout.
The apprenticeship programme is well structured and organised. I have the opportunity to discuss openly any struggles and concerns I might be experiencing. I have monthly catch ups with my LDN tutor to go through my progress and review any work I need help with. I have found the weekly catch ups with my manager very supportive, we go through my weekly tasks and I have the opportunity to discuss anything I am unsure of require extra support with.
I receive support from not only my manager but my team around me. I have 'catch up' meetings with my manger twice a week to go through anything I need support and guidance with. My manger gives me various tasks and projects to undertake, they can be very challenging however, as I gain new skills and confidence, I am aware just how much I am progressing in my role.
I have received a lot guidance and support from LDN apprenticeships. My tutor has helped me to improve my confidence at work and have supported me throughout my qualification. My tutor responds to any questions I have within a day and is always there if I need to call. I have had a great experience with LDN so far and they have supported me since I started.
My qualification has helped me to improve my Maths, English and ICT skills. My tutor flags any mistakes which I need to work on and sets me goals and targets so I will improve and perform better in my role. The coursework that is set helps me to gain a better understanding of various areas in my role such as management, presentation, communication and customer service.
I have the opportunity to get involved with various activities at work. Our internal groups such as 'Women of Warner', 'OUT' and 'Being' hold different events to raise awareness and to attend inspirational talks. I also have the chance to take 2 days paid volunteering each year. I recently raised money for CentrePoint charity where I had to experience what it is like sleep rough for a night. There are so many activities at Warner Brothers that give you the chance to network, inspire and learn.

I would definitely recommend applying to Warner Bros. to a friend, you are given so much responsibility and gain so much experience as an apprentice. There are many opportunities to get involved with and gain new skills. You soon become an integral part of the team. There are so many colleagues from various backgrounds that means you are meeting lots of interesting an kind people making your experience even more memorable. As soon as you join you are definately made to feel part of the team.
I would advise candidates to keep trying and to not give up. To have a clear understanding of the role that you have applied for and to research into the topics that link to that role. I would advise to think about what would makes you different and stand out from the rest of the candidates applying. Have a list of questions to go into the assessment day with to ask, this will show that you are eager and interested in the role.
