I work in assurance, my role is to audit financial statements of companies to ensure completeness and accuracy. On a day to day basis I work on different client accounts.
I have developed my soft skills such as excel significantly since joining EY. I have also improved my confidence, now I feel comfortable when leading teams.
I enjoy my programme, I feel it teaches me valuable life skills.
My programme is well structured and organized, through the help of various teams.
There is plenty of support provided by my employer whether that be academic or within my role itself.
Our training provider is Kaplan, they provide excellent support when working towards my qualifications. Support is very accessible.
My qualification helps me to perform better within my role as it provides me further understanding as to why we are completing the tasks.
Yes there are lots of extra-curricular activities. I am part of the social committee and we organize quarterly department socials. Other extra-curricular activities include sports teams, hobbies and local community work etc.
Yes
EY is a great company to work for and I feel well supported within my role.
A tip which I would provide to others applying would be to be yourself. EY value personal skills as much as academic skills.
