great back up for building on exsisting skills but has helped shaped how I think and approach situations. More knowledge and confidence.
really enjoying the apprenteship so far. It can sometimes be a struggle to work and balance the apprenticeship however my tutor, mark, is very supportive and always feel refreshed after a visit. I enjoy that I can log in and complete a short module at a time or do a couple if I have more time.
mark brings great structure and organisation to the programme. After every visit he has already set up the next visit and on the occasion that I had to move it he was great at being flexible and working to meet my needs. He provides a clear overview over what I need to complete before the next visit which is good.
I do feel supported by the company as a whole and I know there are people within the company that I can contact to get further support.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider and feel he wants me to do well and achieve my goals within the programme. He sets clear objectives and answers any questions I have, or will find out and keep me in touch with the answer which is great.
gives me the further knowledge I need to advance my career and helps form my management style and how to lead a team to improving results. helps to give me a base for how I will develop as a manager and better commercial awareness. Also builds my awareness after health and safety
Whitbread offers several extra curricular activities to get involved in at work. These vary between those organised at a national level and a local level. We have a LGBT network which regularly organises nights out in the northwest and there is a site level lots to get involved in here.
Yes
Whitbread offers job flexibility and job security. In the current financial market this is so important. They also offer discounted stays and other rewards through a points system of rewards. The best thing is sharesave where you can buy share through work and pay monthly for 3 or 5 years.
DO IT! its great that the company is investing heavily in our futures and supporting our developement. These qualifications are not only valid within the company but a government recognised qualification. You are supported by your learning tutor and the online module allow flexibility and work around you. You will learn a lot and its a great opportunity.
