I am Commercial Finance Administrator working within the Dealer Payments team and I am responsible for the management of the Fleet Discount Proposal system. Furthermore I aid dealers in chasing payment and ensuring the right bonus is paid. Another part of my job is to create contracts for the Fleet customers.
I have gained a Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration & am working towards my level 3. I have also developed my interpersoanl skills with my constant interaction with the dealer network. As i have worked as part of Fleet Admin and now Fleet Finance i have gained a lot of knowledge about how Peugeot & Citroen conduct their fleet operations.
There is a great atmosphere within the company and it is a joy to come to work everyday. I feel the work I have been given over my time here is due to the trust I have been given by managers. The work I am doing feels important to the running of the company and makes me feel a valued member.
I feel appreciated by management as they compliment the work I do, praise me for going the extra mile and involve me in extra projects and ask for my input. The dealers i speak on a day to day business regularly praise me on the work i am doing on their behlaf. They come to see me when they are at head office just to thank me in person.
Our academy in conjunction with our HR department and placement managers structure our NVQ work with our day to day jons very well. I have regularly scheduelded meetings with my assessor to go over work and discuss future progression.
We recieve a lot of support from our assessors and they are there by email or phone whenever we need them.
There are always people you can approach whether it is within your department, line managers, HR team or even other apprentices and trainees. When we started we were assigned 'Buddies' and they are ex-apprentices who have completed their scheme and are best able to guide us as we progress through the scheme.
It is great if you are living at home.
Yes
