Our first two weeks was a range of different activities from creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations, different work shops and talks and visits to other companies. The last week included a work experience in an area most likely of our choice.
I strongly developed on my communication skills with new people I had never met before and was able to build my experience in creating good relationships with people I work with.
I thoroughly enjoyed my work experience at EY. I met a lot of great people and felt comfortable from the first day we started the work experience. Everyone was so kind and it was such a friendly environment. I have no negative thing to say about my time at EY.
The work experience was organised great! All activities were done and sometimes even finished earlier than expected according to schedules.
As the work experience for the first two weeks was not really focused on the company itself I feel like I didn’t learn much about how it would be to actually be an employee at EY.
My future career path has always been the same since a young age yet this work experience allowed me to confirm that it is definitely the path that I want to take to pursue my future career.
Yes we were paid £175 per week for our attendance and we were reimbursed travel expenses at the end of each day.
Yes there were many different activities that allowed us to network with others. Employees were friendly and easily to interact with when they came in to meet with us.
Yes
EY was a great and friendly environment. The leaders of the programme were supportive and friendly also along with the people on the work experience with me. This work experience allowed me to strongly develop on my communication and team working skills
