It involved working with the tax department looking into the different kind of things they do and understanding how it works.
I learned communication, presentation skills and IT skills
The overall experience was very enjoyable and insightful
It was mostly well organised but there were times where I had nothing to do
I learned a lot about EY and what the workplace is like. It was much more relaxed than some of the other big accounting firms
It gave me an idea about whether I would like to look into tax in the future but it wasn't the most helpful in coming to a definitive conclusion as I haven't tried a lot of other roles.
I was paid
There were lots of opportunities and we were actively encouraged to meet new people and network
Yes
It has a very relaxed workplace with plenty of facilities. It also pays well compared to a lot of other companies
Don't stress too much about the recruitment process because it doesn't contain anything that you wouldn't be able to do
