At the moment my role is based on operating a plant, this is to provide experience of working on the plant. This involves controlling the plant using the delta V system or helping operators make monomers.
I have not only developed existing skills but I have learnt many new skills at the same time.
So far I have enjoyed the programme, it has developed my on the spot thinking a large amount.
There have been some problems with the structure from the beginning due to members of staff leaving but it has improved largely in the past months.
Support is available at all times by emailing your mentors or managers.
Support can be gained by emailing and speaking to the training provider.
The knowledge gained from the training helps me to perform better and in a safer mannor.
Without covid restrictions there would be events to get involved with.
