My role at EY is to provide a service to the partners here. I file, book meeting rooms, organise travel and accommodation, Event planning, Expenses and timesheets. The re are the sorts of things I do here on a day to day to ensure the partners have the best experience.
Yes - IT skills for me wasn't an issue but I have picked up on a lot more since being at EY. Being in such a professional firm my professional skills have definitely improved, included my dress sense and emails and phone calls internally and externally.
My team here is very small so we build relationships with each other really easy. EY has exceeded my expectations and I really do enjoy it here, I have been made very welcome and felt lie I've always been here. My day to day work is really enjoyable also.
On occasions it could be better in terms of organisation on BPP half. The study I get its brilliant as I get the best amount of time each week to focus on work and EY has really molded itself to the programme. I do feel the support could be better as you do sort of feel you are left to do it on your own and whenever I've contacted BPP there as been a waiting time for a response.
My employer is great with support - They regularly check up on my study work and complete witness statements for me to show as evidence for my work. It not just my employer who supports me its the whole team they all really try to provide me with the best possible experiences.
Not as much as preferred and I feel like everyone does feel the same as we help each other out due to it sometimes being hard to get in contact with training provider. however they do support us with a class room session in Manchester which we have the chance to ask questions.
I feel my job here is the most important part in getting the qualification as the majority of my work is based on my day to day job role. But at the same time my BPP work makes me understand the important jobs from the less important ones as I need to understand this to complete my training.
Yes - At EY the social network is massive and we have team building days regularly. We also get Two CR days a year which is when we can get out to the charities and provide our help where needed. I personally love getting involved and organising these events. They are also really good for meeting ew people and building relationships.
Yes
They offer you so many opportunities and provide you with the best skills and I have learnt so much from being here. EY is a very friendly and welcoming place and I enjoy coming to work here everyday and that is down to the people I work with daily. The things I have been opened to do have been very generous and am pleased to be a part of the EY family
That they should definitely apply and get into the company because there is so much movement and they really do provide a good work experience offering 2 working from home days a week. I would say don't get put off by the amount of work you have to complete (Security checks ect) before you start as I did myself feel slightly over whelmed but then when I started it wasn't bad at all.
