Managing a team of 11 Interacting with Housekeeping Handing over to / taking over from reception Managing finance and health and safety Liaseing with attached pub/restaurant

I know how to manage people and rotas Holiday planning Strong conversations

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it when I can find time, doing 5 sometimes 6 deskshifts can sometimes have an impact on family life so finding time for my apprenticeship is hard

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very, just hard to follow as mentioned previously

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Whitbread? Not a lot, my manager helps as much as possible but she is limited as she has 3 hotels. All her AHM's are completing the same level apprenticeship

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It has helped, but the only way I learn is through experience.
