  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • At the beginning of my day, I check my emails for anything of importance for the day ahead. Following on from this, I will see what client audit files I have work outstanding on and prioritise them accordingly. If I am struggling for work I will contact my line manager who will provide me with further tasks to complete. Each day at EY is very varied and different as there are always different tasks to be completed for different clients.

  • 9a. Would you recommend EY to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed the first year of my apprenticeship and feel it would be a great experience to other school leavers. The practical experience gained is invaluable and you can qualify in less time compared to studying at university then achieving a graduate role within EY after your studies.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • EY is a very diverse employer therefore ensure you are yourself and very open and honest in your application. Part of the application is a case study online, for this I would recommend taking your time, while still ensuring not to go over the time limit, and approach each question methodically.
