Customer facing service delivery and provision. Maintenance and repair of the network.
Yes, lots of new engineering skills and developed my interpersonal skills within a customer facing role, learnt how to manage difficult or frustrated customers in a diplomatic manner and had to learn ways to manage pressure and stress in a more constructive way than I was used to!
I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship, and this has been made enjoyable due to the trainer's patience and assistance when required.
Very well organised, with study blocks put in the diary well in advance to allow us days off the tools to focus on the studying and be able to apply ourselves in an academic environment without distraction.
As much or as little as I require.
My training provider has been consistent in his support and has always responded almost immediately to any email I have sent, or call I have made when we are not in the classroom. It is this support which enables us to succeed and persevere.
I feel that it covers every aspect of my role in depth, and has often alerted me to quality standards or procedures' I had not been shown yet so, definitely made me better in the field.
Not that I am aware of for our area of the company.
Yes
Because they are a great employer, who appear to be fair and treat their employees with respect, honesty and very good working conditions/procedures/pay in todays economical climate.
