My current role within the company is a trainee engineer, in this roll it involves maintaining the network and providing people with telephone or broadband services, this involves coming face to face with many different customers on a day to day basis.
I have learn many new skills as well as developing existing skills.
I enjoy my program a lot, its nice to be able to learn whilst doing the job but then also having the time to learn and develop the skills whilst face to face with an assessor
the structure of the programme is really good, it is very well organised for all types of people.
The employer offers a great amount of support and you get support from every engineer around you.
My training provider gives me all the support I need to working towards my qualification. he is very helpful and is always happy to help when I need it.
I feel it helps me perform better in my job.
yes there are many social activities you can get involved in as a group, in your patch area you do things as a team and set up local gatherings for things such as football or team meals.
