I am working in Transaction services, whereby I am exposed to a variety of different projects with a focus on insolvencies of some of the largest global companies. Each day I am faced with new challenges and presented with more exciting opportunities.
My team always help me to develop my existing skills by placing me in challenging situations, to ensure I am always being stretched. When I have mastered one skill, I am trained on a new skill and then put in a situation to action what I have learned.
I thoroughly enjoy the EY apprenticeship and everyday I look forward to coming into work! The culture is incredible and there is a real sense of belonging. The work is extremely interesting and I couldn't ask for a better team to work with.
There is a clear structure for the programme and we have two separate counsellors (one for a career progression and one for the apprenticeship), who help keep us on track and make sure we are able to achieve all of our desired goals.
No matter who you ask, anybody will be willing to support you. There are several people you can talk to straight away if you need support with something very quickly, which is something we all use.
There is online support from my provider, who I can contact whenever I have queries regarding my qualification. I also receive regular email from them, to let me know of any updates that I should be aware of.
I feel that my qualification helps me perform significantly better in my role as the modules I learn about are the foundations to the work that I carry out on a day to day basis.
There are countless networks, teams and social activities that you can get involved with at EY. Even as an apprentice, I have been given the opportunity to co-run a networks that I really wanted to get involved with.
Yes
EY has a true sense of belonging - the culture, people and opportunities at EY are truly incredible. Everyday I think how grateful I am to be working at EY and would encourage anyone to also be a part of this wonderful community.
Be yourself and go for it! Enjoy every step of the application process - it is hard, but that's what makes it worthwhile! Put in your all and the reward will come!
