Depending on the placement, I am given work to complete tasks for my apprenticeship. Also, picking up valuable skills and knowledge along the way.
Yes. In my previous design placement, I had been given a lot of support on developing my skills revolving CAD
I enjoy it a lot, there are things that could be ran better, but the once the preparation is done, there's a lot of potential for the production placement to be a real enjoyable placement.
Like mentioned in the question above, the production placement needs a bit more foundation to build off to make it a more enjoyable placement, but the structure overall is great!
They are completely and utterly supportive, not just the manger I am working under, but the apprentice manager too. But both are always happy to help me when I need help. But also, the workers around me are also happy to help when I need it
My assessor is extremely helpful in helping me. However, the college needs to work on some flaws that have been obvious to them.
Like I said my assessor is good at helping me when I need it, and he offers opportunities to me that I could take as long as the company are happy with them. but the college sometimes forget that some of us are apprentices; causing unneeded workloads.
There are always something I can get involved in at work
