  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Making and taking calls to already existing customers so we can retain as much of there business as possible, working through emails making sure I give quick responses, providing customer excellence. I can do this by building a great relationship with my customers meaning they come back more often and keep spending with us.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have really development my maturity by being in an office environment and have truly changed as a person due to this. My communication skills have also really developed as I talk to loads of different people every day and so pick up on personality traits better allowing me to speak to customer better as I know how to tailor the call to them.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed the program, it was very well run considering it was the first they have done. It kept me on my toes and was actually quite fun as we didn't just sit in a class room and learn about the job. It was very on the job training, which is what I like more and allows me to retain more information.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was very well organised, there was a few bits I would of changed around, like doing the team building at the beginning rather than the end. Even though the trip it self was great. The classroom to on the job learning ratio was great as well and meant it was never boring.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Loads of support, if you needed help there was always a manager, co worker or apprenticeship coach on hand to always make sure we knew what we were doing. This meant that we were always up to date with work and made it hard to fall behind unless you didn't do the work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Yes we had loads of training from GK coming in to Natural training and vendors coming in as well. There was a lot to take in but once you start getting on the phones the training does start coming back to you and remember information a lot easier. c c

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe there is a lot of useful information that we we would of never known just by being on the phones, like how to deal with different personalities and also different techniques for dealing with difficult situations on the phone. Those are the two biggest benefits In my opinion.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are loads of clubs you can join and if you ever needed/wanted to help out with any events like the bake sale, charity collection or anything else for that matter you would always be allowed to. Social club is a great one where you pay £5 a year and get to go on loads of cool trips for cheap.
