Currently my day to day role is powder coating metal for the ship.
I have learned numerous new skills since starting my apprenticeship.
I really enjoy my job and I am enjoying learning a new trade.
it could be better organised but all in all it’s ok
BAE Systems have been amazing when it comes to support and training provided
My training officer has done everything to help me succeed and continue to develop my skills and gain my qualifications
I pick up different skills when I go to college and it helps with my work in the yard

Yes
Bae Systems will do anything to make sure you are succeeding and comfortable in your workplace. They give you all the tools necessary and it’s a great place to either start or further a career.
Be yourself and show enthusiasm. The shipyard is a harsh environment so make sure that it is what you truly want to pursue before applying.
