Auditing the year end accounts of various companies. I had a junior role and received coaching throughout to help me learn quickly. The job involves working through 'EGAs' or 'Evidence Gathering Activities' allowing us to deliver an opinion on said accounts.
I have learnt many new skills such as auditing methodology and testing methods, and developed my existing learning from university.
I thoroughly enjoyed my program. It was very challenging however I was given the right guidance to face this challenge.
Very well organised - always given clear instructions and guided through each step.
The one thing everyone says at PwC is how friendly everyone is - this is true. We receive lots of support from not only each other but our seniors.
We receive all the support we could possibly need from the university/ICAEW.
There are many socials, competitions and conferences etc.
Yes
Very friendly employees, flexible working, very rewarding and challenging.
Don't panic about settling in as you'll be coached through everything. Make a good network as that always helps - and be prepared to work very hard.
