  • Performing audit work for different clients. Involves working in a team to collectively get the work done.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My computer technical skills greatly improved as well as developing my communication skills and how to work in a team. My knowledge of accounting and audit work also greatly expanded.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, I liked being able to meet and work with lots of different people and that I got the opportunity to work in lots of new places.

  • The programme was well organised, lots of people were in contact with me frequently to make sure I knew what I was doing and giving me support.

  • I received good support from my employer, I had many contacts that I could go to with questions and queries including my career coach, buddy and incharges. They were also good at checking in with me every now and then to make sure everything was going alright.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there were numerous socials when I was on placement and I thoroughly enjoyed the ones I attended. Everyone was always very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable.

  • 9a. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I think it's a very nice place to work, the office is quite young so there is always lots of social events and things to be doing outside of work. Also everyone was really helpful with any questions I had and was willing to help me with anything work related.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • To be honest in your application and to show your enthusiasm and interest in the area of work that you are applying to. Get experience by getting involved in something related to the field and show how you have the applicable skills relevant for the job that will make you stand out.
