Provide food for tesco factory workers. Some day i would do long days which would involve breakfast at 9:30 and then lunch at 12:30 and then the final service at 5:30. Each service would be an hour and a half long. I would do ordering and additional services in between
Learnt allot from the start. With the apprenticeship i learnt leadership styles and how to deal with each person differently depending on their personality and work style. Learnt different way of teaching and also lots of book work. overall the apprenticeship was brilliant in getting me where i wanted to be
Karen who was my assessor was brilliant she was so supportive when it came to the work and also helpful with personal issues that got in the way at times. There was allot of paper work and i wish there was more a little bit more practical side to it but overall it was okay
It wasn't the best as the credentials got changed many times and this was stressful for myself as well as my assessor. She did all should could to help me pass and i ended up getting distinction overall. The final stage was well organised and went very smooth
Received all the support i needed and they gave me time out from the kitchen to get the work done, they was good in understanding when stuff needed to be ordered in so i could show i could cook it in the style needed, so overall they was very good.
She was brilliant, couldn't have asked for a better assessor, it was just frustrating that we dont get to see them after the course is done as we get a new final point assessor. He was also brilliant and always on time and very helpful when needed. So overall very good
Its made me step up more and also have a better understanding of how the company works overall. So its given me the big picture of what goes on and i dont just feel like an employee i feel part of a team. Its helped me with confidence as well because i know allot more.
None that i know of. I think the hospital i used to work at has a running club but with tesco theres not much in terms of social activities unfortunately. this is something that needed to be looked at and organised for the future as it would benefit allot of people
Yes
They have got me to level 3 and set me up to be able to go and work in any kitchen so i really cant complain. They have been supportive throughout and have been good to work for. For someone my age with ambition they can provide lots of qualifications to help you in your carer
Let them know your targets and that you're willing to learn if needed and you're happy to do whatever to help out. They are supportive and don't hold you back. Be honest and it will get you far. Be yourself and accept there will be very hard days ahead.
