  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My first rotation is as a member of the Software Asset Management team, which ensures compliant software usage across the company. I primarily use Excel and a specialist licensing tool. I also spend time in meetings with members of the team in Chennai, India.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

  • 9a. Would you recommend AstraZeneca to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • A very good working environment, that is supportive and encourages you to push yourself. On a more crude note, they pay very well.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AstraZeneca?
  • Research the company. Also, emphasise that you want to have responsibility and that you are a hard worker. If you have any previous work experience, really draw on that - they are keen on people who can prove why they would fit in a work setting.
