I am constantly dealing with legal contracts between AstraZeneca and external companies. I sit in the business development sector and work along the science and innovation leads to process a project from ideation all the way through to implantation.
Yes, I had no/little legal knowledge before doing my apprenticeship, since being trained I have gained a vast amount of legal knowledge and I am constantly learning new things.
I am very impressed with my programme, and I would definitely recommend this apprenticeship and AstraZeneca to many others.
Structure is ok, I have one day a week study however the contact with the University is very little (one week a year). Personally I would like more face to face contact.
I have a 3 month review every 3 months which is good as it keeps me on track. I think this amount of time is perfect as I am constantly learning on the job as well as study.
There is support there if needed, the tutors can skype and assist you whenever needed.

Yes, apprentice counsel, AZ inspire, Network of women, LGBT.
Yes
They offer fantastic job roles and I know many people that still have a job after their apprenticeship and are progressing fantastically.
Make sure your CV is well written and applies to the role you are applying for. Look at AZ's values and behaviours and include them in the CV. For interview be well prepared and do not be afraid to be confident as that's what they are looking for.
