I started in QA Sampling which involved sampling bulk/packed products, I have now rotated to QA GMP BOM approval. This is a QA role approving Bills of Material for packing lines
I have learnt many new skills since joining AstraZeneca. Social and confidence skills have been improved. Internal skills have been gained i.e deviation and system training. Taking part in audits improves professional skills and educational learning improves knowledge.
I enjoy my programme very much so. AstraZeneca has no limits for me personally and push apprentices to achieve more than is in their job role. Teams are supportive and my management make time to assess us as well as mentoring/supporting us to be better.
Internally the structure in great from management and other peers/apprentices. Sometimes university can be a challenge, assignment instructions and feedback can be mismatching and waiting for answers can vary in time length.
Support from AstraZeneca is great. Management will ensure you're well supported as well as pushing you to achieve more. They support problems as well as aiding in university work which is out of their role.

Great place to work with great benefits. Well supported in a very professional environment where you'll be pushed to always improve.
Interview days aren't as daunting as people think, they're fun days built around getting the best out of you on the day.
