yes, i learned a lot on how to effectivly manage my team, and how to keep them motivated when times were hard. this meant that i could get the best out of myself and my team, making the kitchen run smoother, and delivering an even better service to the client, a win win for everyone
i really enjoyed my programme, it really challenged me and amde me think a lot outside the box. this helped keep my interest, as sometimes inside the wire the work can be a bit monotounous, putting out 100s of portions of the same thing every week, but this provided something else to focus on
my programme was very well structured, and i had an amazing trainer, who kept going with me even when times were hard, he was always at the end of the phone if i needed anything, and was always super supportive. He would come and see me every month, and tought me a lot, especially when it came to IT
my employers were really supportive, giving me plenty of time in the working day so i could get on with my qualifation, the managers were also really helpfull with advice on their past experiences, to help me with some of the senarios throwen up in the couse, i could not have done it with out them
my training provider would visit once a month, and always be happy to help me with any sections i was finding difficult, and lead me onto the right track. He would also mark any work i e mailed over to him really quickly and respond promtly yo any emails i would send him
after learning all i have leaned on my qualification, it helps em massivly with my day to day role, especially managing my staff, now i know the right way to talk to them and the insentives i can put in place to get the most out of all my employees, so we are always improving on our service
at present there are no real extra curricular activities organised by our work, i do however do a lot of training with some of my ccm chefs on camp. I am very involed in my fitness, so have been spending a lot of time with them helping them bring their fitness levels up
Yes
Elior has always looked after me as a company, they have always supported me, and offered great training incentives, they ensure a good work life balence and do not put to much on you. The managers are always on the look out to make sure you are coping ok with your work load and not getting too stressed
the advice i would give to others applying to Elior is jump at the chance, if you put the work in they will reward you, it is easy to get promoted if you work hard, and as long as you are doing your job properly they will always try and suppoert you
