Many different departments in EY. These included immigration, pensions, mobility and it helped develop our employability skills too.
I became more confident in myself and learned more about the leadership and team working skills. I also gained more knowledge on all of the different departments EY has in their business.
I enjoyed it so much because it was so worth doing as I learned more skills which will help me in the future. We had tasks to complete which were fun and it kept me interested in continuing to complete them.
I believe it was really organised because I was given a timetable of what I would be doing for each day I was in the offices. They always had tasks to give me so I wasn’t waiting around for the next task.
I learned so much about the company and what they do on a day to day basis. It was a nice calm work environment and I like that kind of environment personally.
It helped me discover new career interests I never knew I was going to have a interest in. I was given a mentor which can help me even more by helping me find out my next steps.
We were paid on a hourly basis and if we had to travel we could reimburse our travel tickets.
During the work experience we met different employees in different departments so we could learn more from different employees who work in different departments
Yes
It helped me gain new employability skills. Not only this but one of my weaknesses was my confidence going into this placement and this helped me develop my confidence especially when it comes to making decisions and applying for jobs
During this placement I would just really say just enjoy it and work hard because I gained so much from this and not everyone gets this opportunity. Therefore I would say enjoy it and it will benefit you and your career path
