I am a Junior analyst. I cannot really pin my job down to one role as it varies on a day to day basis. The majority of work is done within Excel though.
I have completed a multitude of Internal training courses. Ranging from Accounting to Information Security within the industry.
I enjoy my work very much. The company really cares for it's employees which may not always the case with Investment banks. Additionally I also like my team members as they were very welcoming.
Yes, I feel quite valued as the work I am doing actually has some kind of ramifications or will aid my manager.
Very organized
I received a fair enough of support from QA.
I receive a lot of support from everyone within Nomura
The salary is good. Of course it could be higher but for an apprenticeship I think it's very good.
Yes pretty much every week there is something going on outside of work.
Yes
It is a good company to become invested in
Just don't be nervous in the interview and make sure you stand out otherwise you'll be the same as everyone else.
