The 4 month training period was so much fun. We learnt so much and are now able to start coding within the business. This helped build our confidence as most of us had no prior coding knowledge.
I have learnt four new programming languages and I can now build a fully functioning app all by myself, whereas before I could only build a really simple website, without functionality.
I look forward to it everyday. I never wake up dreading work, and I think that is quite an achievement.
It is extremely well organised. They give you the right amount of time to learn what you need to, and the tutors at QA are amazing.
We received a lot of support. Constant meetings and emails whilst training and now we are working in the company, we have calls constantly to check up on us.
Our training provider was the best I have ever come across. My memory retention improved due to the quality of training.
The qualifications are fundamental to passing the apprenticeship, as they prove to your employer that you are at the level they expect of you.
There are lots of different groups. My favourite are those around mental health (discussions, meditation classes etc).

The company has been nothing but supportive. I have always wanted to be a software engineer but I didn't know how to start my career. BAE gave me everything I needed to have the career I have always wanted and I see myself staying with them for a long time.
Make sure you research the company, make an effort to show your interest, and always be yourself.
