It's pretty good, some modules are boring but I can see why we do them. The teaching in the technical subjects is excellent and I really enjoy the coding challenges.
Most are fairly well structured, some modules are better organised than others.
My employer leaves me to do what I need to. There's no real training or apprenticeship type work and my mentor is very busy. I am given one day a week to work from home on Uni deadlines and complete any training I want.
Quite a lot. In first year we were spoon fed the assignments so it was very supported, but second year is better and we're given more scope to do independent learning.
My role requires PHP, JS, and C# none of which we learn in Uni. It has given me more confidence to go and learn new things, and the Java learning has helped with general coding.
Some, there are team events occasionally, but no clubs or societies to join.
