I work on a reporting and tracking team. Here I create reports on current releases to give to the client and I track all the deliverables that go to the client for review and acceptrance.
I have learnt a lot of planning and tracking skills. I have also learnt how to create plans on MSP which will definitely help me the future.
I enjoy the programme as the modules I have done up until now have been very informative and have interested me. However, I cannot wait to be done as it is quite stressful doing Uni work and Working at the same time.
I'd say my programme has a solid structure. I know what I've got to do and this has been layed out clearly.
I'd say I receive very little support from my employer. Because everyone is busy it makes it hard. I do have a mentor and he is very helpful when it comes to getting feedback on my assignments,
I receive a lot of support from Winchester Uni, especially at the moment, lecturers are willing to help you outside of your univertsity day.
The business roles definitly will help me, they have made me think outside of the box more and become more creative. I have also learnt a lot of techy modules and this makes me want to go into more of a techy role.
We have a Sport and Social Club, which allows you to go to all sorts of events and sports activites.
Yes
Because they offer some really good programmes and the people. The projects are really interesting and you always feel like you're working towards something.
Be yourself, show intiative and relate back to problems you have overcome in the past. Show you have an interest in the area you are wanting to go and work in as well.
