My role is electrical maintenance, this involves completing certain tasks including a range of different circuits with different materials, the theory includes physics, maths and health and safety. Risk assessments and other write ups will be completed after every task to understand what it is we have made
I learnt a lot I didn’t have any electrical background in the past. So this is all very new to me. I have learnt different ways to wire up certain circuits and how to use certain materials I have also learnt a lot about the theory behind it and way it works in the way it does
I extremely enjoy the programme it as been amazing working with great people and managers that help you along the way to understand many things within the trade
It is very well organised with clear set out stages of what needs to be done within the 3 year apprenticeship
I receive a lot of support from a lot of people. My manager is very helpful and helps me when I’m not understanding a certain part of the trade
The support is great with lots of experience to help you do the correct training programmes.
The training helps me with many things that i didn’t know before and this training allows me to understand what is down in situations
Yes there is a lot of sports teams run by the company and a lot of outside of work events to take part in
Yes
It’s a great place to work for with lots of support, great pension programmes and supporting managers with a lot of good knowledge
