My rotation vary through the first 2 years. Currently I am in Data using SQL to create reports for live calls. Attend meetings in relation to data warehouse and also undergoing further IT training. I will be later going into development, testing, it security and infrastructure gaining knowledge in all departments.
I have learned a lot of new skills this including basic meeting etiquette to learning Java/SQL gaining IT knowledge which I never had before. I have gained experience of an office job as this is my first full time job after sixth form and understood how to conduct meetings. Whereas, at university I have gained knowledge in 3 core units this including programming, web dev and business systems.
I have really enjoyed first year gaining knowledge in various departments and understanding my company as a whole. I am excited for the next years as I will start specialising in IT Consultancy which is of an interest to me since I have started my Digital and Technology Degree Apprenticeship.
I believe that from university aspect the programme is very well structured and planned. All the lectures and seminars can be applied also to work environment and first year gave a nice introduction to the whole undergoing programme allowing everyone to wisely choose their option for the coming years at university.
I get all the support from everyone. Allowing me time to study for my exams, help with any questions I may have and showing a flexible attitude to any issues I would like to speak to them about. This, I get all the support from my employer as my year is the first cohort thus receive a lot of guidelines on the programme.

I get involved in social volunteering with work helping out at wood street mission. Helping young children that are in need. I would like to get involved in more activities like these as it is lovely to help others and go and extra mile to help the people in need.
Yes
The company has a lovey work ethic allowing everyone to be happy, it focuses on mental health having gym classes for employees but, also does Friday payday drinks allowing all workers to have a social and work side to their lives. Therefore, I would recommend this company as everyone is there to help
To go for it and not be scared to step out of their shells as I have not had any experience in it and didn’t do it a level but currently in an it role. The advice I would give is to go for it and to stay positive
