as an audit assistant I just help my team complete simple tasks, collecting data, setting up work papers, just helping my manager complete an audit
Yes, I've learnt many skills, I came into audit with 0 knowledge. I have learnt so much in 6 months and I am due to learn so much more. Its a very quick pace environment so you learn a lot fast, also every client is different so you learn skills in that way also
I quite enjoy the programme, its very daunting coming into a working environment, but most of the people you work with understand what is like to study while you are working, they are supportive and understanding. Its also nice having so many people my age to work with. Even though the working hours can be tough.
its quite well organised, there is a lot of support there if you need it, and we are well informed sometimes when it comes to whats happening. the only problem is the link between our study and the programme, we are often left in the dark about whats happening and who we should go to in case we are not sure on something, there is a bpp contact but KPMG do not know much about what is included or happening in our study
there is a lot of support, there is a good link between school and work.
there is quite a bit of support, although we never have one individual to contact, its more of a support line
they give me a baseline understanding of what is going on. but with audit its more learning on the job
yes there are loads of extra activities to join
