Looking after team of estimators, setting pricing parameters and ensuring service levels are upheld. Visiting clients to discuss projects and closing sales.
Enhanced people skills in order to get sales over the line. Also prior to the role I had no management training, so the apprenticeship training has been essential to my development.
Really enjoying it, rounding out all my knowledge and providing new ways of looking at situations.
Very well structured and organised.
My employer is very proactive with upskilling workers to meet the business needs. They give me all the time I require to attend the course and undertake assignments.
Support has been excellent, the skills coaches are really helpful and supportive.
Only just starting on the 2nd unit, so can't give too much feedback, but so far I have been able to implement a few new ideas to improve the way I do my job and the way I can help others.
Occasional social activities. Within my sales role I regularly attend networking events within my industry.
