My role involves assisting directors with projects, organising and booking rooms, trips. I also do some work involving sending of lettings to banks for our auditors.
My communication skills have improved and I am competent when using Microsoft tools such as power point and excel.
I really enjoy the programme as I am always learning, there is new training and I am supported with my apprenticeship. It links to my job role so I am always expanding my skills and learning different areas of the business. KPMG provides good exposure and opportunities.
Very organised. Always support from all different areas of the business. Lots of resources provided to keep me organised and to produce good quality work. I also have lessons at BPP which I have learnt lots from and enjoy them.
We have our day to do apprenticeship work, this means that we are not distracted by KPMG work and can let people know when this day is. Employer understands the work is important and respects this. One to one meetings also provide support and are on a regular basis.
The training provider sends lots of updates and is always around to contact. We are provided with webinars and learning websites, also face to face sessions. When assignments are marked they are always on time and give good constructive feedback with lots of support to be able to pass the missions.
I think the apprenticeship work helps me identify what I do well in my job role and how I can improve. I have learnt all aspects of businesses and how all job roles are affected and play there part. It has helped with my time management skills and writing.
We have social activities outside of work, there are also catch up meetings with our departments. Charity events also bring everyone together.
