I work within risk and compliance. Here I do an array of activities ranging from BAU to project work. I manage the domain risk register, organise audit requirements such as failovers and also do adhoc work such as timesheet management and onboarding.
Many new technical and soft skills. I have greatly developed my communication skills and also learnt how to use technology tools to aid me in my job
I really enjoy my programme, Just IT have made the course interesting and manageable whilst in full time work. Although tough at times, it is definitely rewarding.
well structured, clear checkpoints and well organised workshops.
From my immediate team and domain, the support is fantastic. They have gone out of their way to make this experience as pleasant as possible for me. The internal apprentice team however defintely lacks support and understanding of the challenges I have faced.
Lot's of support, both of the last two coaches I have had from Just IT have been very supportive and readily available to help with work.
I believe many of the soft skills I have learnt through this programme have helped me in my role as well as some of the project management methodolgies.
Yes, there are many networks that you can be a part of. It is a very inclusive and friendly workplace.
Yes
The culture here is phenomenal, I really enjoy the feel when I get to work. Although the internal apprenticeship team has been a little tricky for me, overall the Bank more than makes up for this.
Go for it, it will be the best job you have. Have a good read through all of the descriptions and try to find the one that best suits you as this will be your role for the next 2 years.
