Personal Assistant to head of division in Financial markets, dealing with diary management, complex travel, meeting arranging, external events/conferencesand project based activities.
Im still new to the apprenticship but starting to expand on what it means to be a project manager/assistant
not had time to get really stuck in yet and had a tricky start to the programe but looking to start letures and portfolio soon.
my new coach is amazing but the actual company has been really disorganised in terms of getting me on to the courses each month, I still havnt been added with the correrct order and feel this should have been organised better. I have been waiting at least 2-3 months for these to come through so my progress is slow.
my company have been great even with my managers being extra busy they have tried to help me get started and have started working out a plan with me to achieve my goal.
apart from my coach i have recieved no support at all. was expecting better but hopefully this can change soon.
I believe it will help me progess into being one day a project manager/assistant - i have started gaining knowledge to help me achieve this.
There are tons of activities and networking events where i work. They are so inclusive and fun.
Yes
The best place i have ever worked, everyone i work with are so great to be around. The bank of england offers great flexiblity and competable packages. I love being apart of the team and can see myself staying for a really long time or ever until retirement.
Do it! You wont regret it at all. Best employers with the best people.
