Involves mainly office work due to site being in the design stage, doing ITP's, AP's and RA's however, I will occasionally go down to other sites and gain site knowledge.
I now know how to write AP's, RA's, ITP's and know how to use a CAT and Genny along with using the GPS to mark coordinates. Learnt how to right permits and draw scale drawings.
At the moment it is mainly office work so can be boring at times however, the site experience I have had has been enjoyable and I will gain more of this as the project progresses.
The site experience is well organised as I always have work to do and somebody to help me with it if needed however, with the college work it was unorganised towards the end due to the assignments not being released properly.

I receive a lot of support from the people I work with, if I have a question about anything to do with work they help me with it or if I want to gain experience in a certain area they will push for this to happen.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider through skype calls for the distanced learning and when in college I would always be able to ask for help on an assignment.
Personally I feel I have learned a lot more on site experience than through my qualifications however, certain subjects such as health and safety and surveying have helped me to gain knowledge on certain things that I have seen on site placement.
Yes there is a 5 aside football team that you can go play with every Thursday and there are social gatherings 2 to 3 times a year for all people on site.
Yes
Because you get supported throughout the program and everyone treats you with respect on site placement.
Show an interest and be eager to learn new skills.
