My work experience involved networking with employers workers and students. As well as this we were able to work on a qualification throughout the first week. We also took part in a week of work experience where we would shadow an employee of ey and complete tasks given to us
The things I learnt during my work experience is how to act accordingly in a professional environment where there are employees working. I also learnt how to network with professionals and how to widen my knowledge on the sector I was doing my work experience in which was very good
I would say my work experience was one of the highlights of my year as it was very enjoyable. From meeting new people to working a full week with someone who works at ey it was an overall great opportunity and experience which I would 100% do again, very enjoyable.
The work experience was very well organised as we had a certain timetable with times and locations and it was followed completely. There was no mess ups with what we would be doing and no need for on the spot improvisations. Overall the programme worked very well and completely smoothly
From working at ey for 2 weeks I learnt a lot about the culture and ethos as I was able to get an understanding of what it wa alike to work there. Ey seemed to me to be a very enjoyable place to work and all the staff were very friendly
My ey work experience gave me the ability to understand and figure out what it was I wanted to do after university. It gave me the opportunity to experience the job first hand and figure out what my passion was. Ey helped me figure out what I wanted to do
I was paid for the whole ey experience and was reimbursed for my travel costs. This process was very easy and eye dealt with this very professionally. I got paid on time and got my travel costs which were not supposed to be included, reimbursed. Thanks to ey and their foundation
Throughout my work experience Ernest and young presented us with many opportunities to network and meet other employees. Everyday we met a group of new employees as well as the second week where we were immersed into employee shadowing where we would be in the working environment it was very fun
Yes
I would recommend ey to my friends as it was a fun experience and I have realised it will help me greatly in the future ey has presented me with a lot of opportunities as well as opened up many other avenues as a professional so I would definitely recommend this to others
I would tell people to be very confident in the interview as you have to show that you are interested in the company and have a genuine desire to learn about the company. You need to be open to meeting new people and networking as this is a big part of the experience
