Sub-contractor works progression and quality assessment. Checking of RAMS and ensuring the relevant parties are conforming. Health and safety assessments. Design assistance.
Personal development both on site and academic has been extensive and varied.
Both academic and on site experience has been enjoyable.
The programme involves regular development assessment and resultant alterations to maximise effectiveness.
Support has been extensive from various parties; line manager, package manager and learning and development manager.
Chesterfield college was deemed by Pearsons the governing body as being the worst organised in the country for that particular course. My experience reflects this. The level 3 apprenticeship was however organised and mainly positive.
Significantly; I often find myself applying knowledge and methodoligies I have learnt through the course.
There are frequent networking events, celebratory events and social events.

Overall my experience has been very positive; recieving extensive support, varied on site experience and significant additional training.
As with any apprenticeship try and gain some experience before enrolling, to ensure the chosen discipline is well suited to yourself as there may well be financial implications should you decide it isn't for you.
