I am fairly new to the role as assistant manager, but I help towards the running of the business, by leading my team and taking on tasks given to me by my manager.
Since starting my new role I have attended my first AHM meeting which was really helpful as it gave me tips on how to do forecasting and to save on labour. It was also useful in helping me priortise my work.
I am finding the programme really useful in gaining extra insight into my role.
Very well organised. I like that fact that all my learning is in one place on the mylife portal. I am also aware of what tasks I am set to complete before my next meeting.
There are training courses in which I can enrole myself on to such as finance management, however these are not in place at the moment due to the current situation.
Yes
It's a great company to work for. They are very fair to all their team members and also provide the opportunity to develop in your career.
I would definitely recommend enrolling on courses which are offered to you to help you progress.
