I'm a housekeeper. My day to day job is to come in, set up my caddy and trolley, get my room list of the rooms I need to clean and then go and clean them. We have a certain amount of time to clean them and then at the end we have to empty our laundry, put away our caddy and make sure the trolleys are stacked up.
I've improved on my communication as we have to be able to communicate with the other staff to make sure the job gets done properly. My time management has improved as we have a certain amount of time to clean the rooms so I have my routine to make sure things are done the right way and in the right amount of time
I'm enjoying it alot because I'm learning a whole lot of new things and being able to advance my knowledge and skills more to help with my career.
Its very well organised. Everything I need is online and if I need to know anything, need any help my assessors are a phone call away
I receive alot of support. My manager, head housekeeper are really good. If I need any help or want to know something they will help me
I receive alot of support. They are only a phone call away
Because I've gained alot of new knowledge that I can then use when I'm working. It helps when I'm training new people as I can explain things alot better, give them a full answer to why we do what we do.
Not there isn't
Yes
Because I enjoy it, always on my feet and keeping active.
To practice your bed making so your ready to show those skills when you get an interview as that is what they really look at the most at first. Make sure it's a job you really want, explain everything that it entails
