1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Leading the hotel in partnership with the Hotel Manager, with minimum input or support from them. In charge of all aspects of health and safety, finance, HR, training and KPIs.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, my apprenticeship has been superb. Sarah is supportive, encouraging and incredibly good at her job. To have someone in your corner who has such amazing insight is amazing. I have increased my critical thinking skills, my leadership skills and my ability to perform under pressure too.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is superb because of my trainer. It is engaging and life-changing.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

I am blown away by the structure and how it is tailored to me. My strengths are taken into account and my workload is structured around my learning skills. Superb! 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

None.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A huge amount of support has been given to me by my provider. I know that I can ask my trainer anything and receive the answers or relevant pointers immediately.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have found it very beneficial. I have learned about a few new models and I am also more aware that I need to have these pieces of work ready mentally. I have learned loads from my apprenticeship that I think about every day.
