I work within the planning team of PMO, helping Project Manager's keep their Microsoft Project plans up to date and on track. I also assist with the weekly & monthly reporting to the client on many of our projects.
Yes, I have definitely developed my personal skills but also my professional skills. I done a Microsoft Project course through QA which has improved by ability on the tool massively and allowed me to perform better within my role.
It is great to get the experience in a professional workplace so early in my career. The salary is great for my age. It is also good to get a degree paid for. However I do generally find it all quite boring :)
There is minimal correlation between what I study at Uni and what I do for work. But the company I work with is very organised and a good company to work for, so that makes it not so bad. My current manager is also very helpful
My current manager is very supportive and is a key part of my progression. I now feel like there is some support in place for me. The overall company is great for supporting students with training courses etc.
Yes the company is very supportive in helping me to achieve my qualifications.
Not so much. There has only been one similar module.
Yes this is probably the highlight of my experience. The company is always on top of these things and the teams do a great job of setting everything up.
Yes
I feel like overall it is a very good company to work for. There is a genuine interest in the members of the company.
