On a day to day basis, my role involves reporting, project governance, SharePoint administration, risk management as well as working extensively with excel.
I have majorly developed my skills within excel, learning how to code vba to automate spreadsheets. I have also learned and developed skills within SharePoint, now being able to set up new sites and libraries.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship programme. Being able to gain experience through working is a major benefit to me.
My apprenticeship programme is well organised and well structured. The university and work tie in could be improved however.
I receive plenty of support from my employer. I am able to ask for help whenever required, and whilst I am always kept busy, I am not put under too much stress.
I get an adequate amount of support from the university, however I believe it could possibly be improved.
I do not necessarily feel that my qualification is helping me to perform better in my role currently, however I do appreciate that I am still learning new skills throughout my qualification which will be helpful for my future career.
There are lots of opportunities to get involved with extra-curricular activities at work, especially through the sports and social club.
Yes
CGI has massively helped me with my start to working life and I could not have asked for a better start. I am constantly learning and improving, and being able to do that in an environment which I am supported in is amazing.
Don't be afraid to ask questions and ask for help.
