On a day-to day basis, I work alongside the marketing department to maintain and update content and optimise performance and accessibility for my company's customer facing websites.
I have had the opportunity to attend multiple training courses through both my qualification and job, which have helped me to develop new and existing skills. I now have good knowledge of systems and procedures that are used throughout my industry.
I really enjoy my role at the company and my qualification. They start you working straight away and you feel valued. Everyone is lovely and is more than happy to help. I didn’t think I would enjoy going into an office as much as I do.
I think my programme has been very well structured. My courses were booked at the beginning of the programme and I have regular meetings with my assessor to make sure I am on track. I have a set study day each week that my job works around.
I have a great support system through my coworkers, management, fellow apprentices, there is always someone there to help. My managers are very supportive and understanding. My company's resources are all easily accessed on our intranet and we are often reminded of the mental health recourses that are available.
My assessor checks to make sure everything is going well at my job and that I am on track with my qualification. I am able to email or phone to ask questions or talk about any concerns. The course tutors have also been very helpful and supportive.
My qualification has given me a better understanding of how IT effects my role and my industry as a whole. It has taught me how to use certain software more effectively to be more efficient when working.
There is always social events running, both within work and without. Whether it be for charity, the company or just to have fun and spend time with coworkers
Yes
I have recommended M&G to a friend because they take care of their staff, there is a great atmosphere in all the offices and it is an amazing company to start in as an apprentice.
Be yourself! Yes, they check that you have the minimum required grades but the interviews are really about getting to know you as a person, seeing what motivates you and how you would fit in with the company/role.
